Great little restaurant on Whyte! I got a bento box that had plenty and plenty of food for 25 bucks. The service was good, and the vibe was fine. Saw a container of ice tea powder out in the kitchen which felt odd. But no real complaints!

Had dinner at Tokyo Noodle Shop and it totally exceeded expectations. The seafood ramen hit the spot — super flavorful broth and generous toppings. Their bento boxes were packed and so worth it, and the sashimi? Fresh, thick cuts that were honestly worth every penny. Huge thanks to Chiang for being the best server — super attentive and friendly. This place is underrated and in a great location. Definitely coming back!

My first visit was fantastic! The food and ambiance were excellent. I came out of curiosity and will definitely return. I had "The One" noodle and calamari, which were delicious and generously portioned. One of the best meals I've had!

Tokyo Noodle Shop never disappoints! I had the tonkotsu ramen (which was absolutely delicious, as always) and I can't rave enough about how fresh everything tasted. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and generous. also love how many add-on options they offer it's easy to customize your bowl exactly the way you want it. Every visit feels like a treat, and the quality is consistently top-notch. If you're craving authentic, comforting ramen, this is the place to go!

Absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen and it was fantastic — the broth had a deep, satisfying heat without overpowering the other flavors. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, and the noodles were perfectly chewy. The place has a cozy, relaxed vibe and the staff were friendly and quick. Great portion sizes and fair pricing too. If you leave broth in your bowl you can also order more noodles for leftover broth. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu — but honestly, I’d come back just for that spicy chicken ramen.

This place is always quiet and relaxing. Amazing deals on sushi and super tasty noodle bowls. I always recommend it as a good spot for a first date because you can people watch the folks on whyte Ave while eating. Been a loyal customer for many years now!

My husband and I stopped in for a casual lunch while in Edmonton, and we're so glad we did! We eat a lot of ramen in Calgary, and weren't sure what to expect from Edmonton ramen shops. This was a great place to start. Tokyo Noodle Shop is a cozy and chill restaurant with very friendly staff and lots of comfortable seating options. The location on Whyte Ave is fantastic and easily accessible, with lots of street parking. For our meal, we opted for sushi as an appetizer and each had ramen - Tokyo tonkotsu and veggie tan tan. We were really impressed with their extensive menu of sushi, ramen (including multiple types of chicken and veggie ramens) and bento boxes/combos. The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavourful, with a generous portion of ginger and wasabi. They had lots of combo plates to choose from, and were willing to make substitutions for a shrimp allergy. The sushi also came with a bowl of miso soup, which was piping hot and flavourful. Our ramen came soon after, and we were impressed with the generous portion size and variety of fresh ingredients. The noodles were absolutely delicious - fresh, al dente and with a different taste from any others we've tried. It can be hard to find veggie or vegan ramen that is unique and has a broth that is actually rich and flavourful. The veggie tan tan hit both of these and more. It was loaded with tofu and veggies, and i loved every bite. It all came together perfectly for a perfect bowl. My husband loved the tonkotsu as well - it was also loaded with pork, noodles and a very flavourful broth. We would absolutely visit again to try more of their menu items. Highly recommend for a casual lunch or dinner with your partner, friends or family.
